Live From The Multi-Verse Is More Than a Concert

After a three year hiatus, the media organization Free Music for Free People (FM4FP) has returned for its fourth spring showcase, Live From the Multi-Verse, on Saturday, April 13, at Mercury Cafe.

FMFFP founder Mona Magno says this event will be unlike any other she has created. 

"I'm bringing in different art forms to put on a storyline of the multi-verse. There's going to be characters in the crowd enhancing the audience's experience," she says, "We have a lot of silly things planned, so I'm excited to execute it with the people who have been on the planning team and helped build this."

Meet Mona Magno

Mona Magno wears a few different hats at Youth on Record. She runs the YOR girls program, FEMpowered, she is a Teaching Artist and she is the Co-Host on the My Youth on Record podcast.

Outside of her work at YOR she is a songwriter who leads her own band under the name, Monalicious. She had been writing and performing for 10 years and being a musician is at the core of all her creative work. … READ MORE

Twin Flame Medicine on Music's Healing Power

Mona Magno, aka Monalicious, has a passion for building community. She performs with the band Twin Flame Medicine, organizes the nonprofit Free Music for Free People, is a partner artist with Youth on Record, and helps run the music-networking event Balanced Breakfast Denver. Each of these roles involves her love of music as well as her desire to create safe spaces for other artists in the community to network, learn and share their art.
